A Research Scholar in the Department of Economics, University of Hyderabad, having research experience of four years in Industrial Economics. Having M.A. (Economics), and M. Phil. (Economics) from Sambalpur University, Orissa to his credit. Possesses sound analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work as an individual as well as a team member. Recently submitted Ph.D thesis to the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India.
OBJECTIVE:

EDUCATION:
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
M. Phil: A Dissertation, entitled Quantifying free riders in a trade union :A case study of Purnapani Mines was submitted to the Department of Economics, Sambalpur University, Orissa in 1997. The research work was based on empirically quantifying the free riders in three different trade unions and testing the impact of it on the respective trade union.
Ph. D submitted to the Department of Economics, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. The title of the thesis is, Indian Industry Under Liberalization: a S-C-P analysis. The objective of the thesis is to delineate the various liberalization polices that affect particular industries and to assess their impact on these industries keeping in view the broad objectives that these polices seek to achieve. This is done by analyzing the effect on Structure of the market, Conduct of the firm and Performance in these industries using panel data over the period 1980 to 1998. The study includes techniques like pooling of time-series and cross-section, and time-series analysis.

*Presented a paper entitled Causality between Structure, Conduct and Performance of Automobile industry in India at the 37h Annual Econometric Conference, held at Surat from 12nd – 15th April, 2001.
*Presented a paper entitled Liberalisation and Its Impact on The Market Structure of Indian Public Limited Companies at the Input- Output Conference organized by the Department of Economics, University of Hyderabad, 2001.
* Authored jointly an article entitled Critical Evaluation of Poverty Alleviation programme: A case study of Laikera Block in Western Orissa, published in the journal Third concept.
